MinervaS is a company founded by members of the research group on energy systems at the University of Salerno in the South of Naples. These founding researchers have more than 30 years of activity in automotive and mechanical control and have worked with many companies in the sector. With this experience they created TruckY. TruckY is an easy-to-use plug-and-play device capable of increasing the environmental sustainability of heavy-duty vehicles and offering an economic advantage to their operators thanks to its patented method. 

TruckY is available in several versions and the simplest is directly installable on a smartphone. While driving, TruckY processes information about the elevation of the road, payload, speed limits, traffic conditions and vehicle characteristics to manage the speed as efficiently as possible. This innovative service reduces fuel consumption and associated CO2 emissions by up to 30%, without increasing journey times or modifying the vehicle.
