The software is available in two versions: a version for post-crisis weather management, where waste arrivals are massive and can even hinder the safety of navigation. A second version, anchored in daily life, is dedicated to communities that have waste collection systems at sea during the tourist season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OPAT solution was born from the know-how of Geomatys, a small and medium-sized company specializing in the massive exploitation of spatial data, and from its desire to apply this know-how to useful solutions for major environmental problems.
